What is ROBODOC Surgical System?

ROBODOC has been developed by Dr. Howard Paul, a veterinarian-surgeon of the Sacramento Animal Medical Group in Carmichael, California, and Dr. William Bargar, an orthopedic surgeon at Sacramento's Sutter General Hospital. An early prototype of the ROBODOC has been developed in 1936 by Thomas J. Watson Research Center of IBM and University of California, Davis. In 1990, IBM has founded a subsidiary company.
